1. Please, introduce yourself and tell us something about you.

Hello, my name is Thomas and i write 'Keramik'. I live and work in Vienna. my job is storing information in painted pictures, which i also do to enjoy the freedom of creating. Art is my personal language that i use to express myself to other human beings, animals and others.

2. You have studied architecture, if i'm right. Do you feel more like an artist or do you work as an architect and graffiti and painting is just a hobby?

Painting & graffiti is my job. i am an artist and i earn my lifing with it. and yes, i studied architecture. During my studies, i filled my brain with new ways of looking at different matters.

3. How did you find Mr. Horse, the icon you use in various implementations?

Mr. Horse showed up, while i was cutting styrodur for an architectonic model in 1999. i looked at a bigger and a smaller piece and put them togehter with toothpicks and... hello Mr. Horse.

4. You have travelled quite a lot in the past. What was the craziest experience with painting abroad?

Me and a friend wanted to make silver pieces on an empty wall on a hill in the city of genua. All other walls around were bombed, so we were happy that the best spot was empty. We went up the hill and half the way i looked down to the ground and realised, that we stood on thousands of used injection-needels. We returned and didn´t make the wall. maybe it is not the craziest, but it made me think.

5. You know Praha. Our city is somehow similar to Vienna and it is also not very far. Could you find the biggest differencies between our places?

The language, i guess.
